What is this?
The Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) has released an online webinar and one page fact sheet with all the information you need to know for the 2019 Annual AML/CFT Reporting.
Does this impact me?
If you are a designated non-financial business or profession (DNFBP) then yes, this does affect you. As a reporting entity under the AML/CFT Act you are obliged to report annually to the DIA. Depending what DNFBP industry you are in, your reporting period is different depending on when you entered the regime. No matter what, all reports must be submitted to the DIA by 31 August 2019 through the portal here.
What to do?
Watch the video that the DIA released and read the fact sheet attached to this to find out all the information you need to submit your AML/CFT Annual report. There are six parts to your annual reporting these are;
- Contact details and organization structural
- AML/CFT Risk Assessment and Programme;
- Products, services and customers;
- Captured activities;
- Ministerial exemption;
- Declaration and signature.
Annual reporting can all be done via the online portal now making it a lot easier and saving you a whole lot of time.
